Banned Books Week 2024 List. Banned books week celebrates the freedom to read and draws attention to the harms of censorship by spotlighting current and historical attempts to remove or restrict books. Each year, the ala creates a top ten list of the most challenged books filed by librarians and gleaned from news stories published throughout the country.
The book club will also support the distribution of banned books to lgbtq+ organizations across the country through rupaul’s charity, the rainbow. Learn about the most challenged books of 2023.
